Postgraduate Courses

Open-source GIS will also be introduced at Postgraduate level where we run an introductory GIS module shared by students on the Sustainable Environments , Applied Ecology  and Landscape Architecture  Masters’ courses. One of the advantages of open-source GIS, such as QGIS, is that students are trained on a free software package that they can take with them into the workplace and start using immediately, without worrying about licencing restrictions and financial costs.
