R Language – R is a language and environment for a wide variety statistical computing and graphical techniques. Additionally, it provides the ability to produce well-designed publication-quality data visualisations.  

RStudio – Open-source professional statistic package which is freely available to download and use. Data be analysed, modelled and imported afterwards into GIS software if appropriate.
